RB 7/2007 Yum!’s acceptance regarding AmRest entrance into Bulgaria

The Management Board of AmRest Holdings N.V. (AmRest) informs about acquiring the Yum!’s acceptance regarding opening and operating KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in Bulgaria. Yum! is a franchisor of these brands.

Since the Yum!’s brands are already present in the Bulgarian market, 11 KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in total, AmRest has no exclusivity rights with regards to these brands. At the initial stage of the Bulgarian investment AmRest will focus on the development of KFC restaurants. The opening of first restaurants in Bulgaria is planned before the end of 2007.

Acquiring this acceptance is another important step in the realization of AmRest Group strategy of strengthening its position in Central and Eastern Europe.
