RB 100/2016 Preliminary sales results Q2 2016
AmRest Holdings SE (“AmRest”) informs that the preliminary sales generated by the AmRest Group (“Group”) in Q2 2016 amounted to PLN 975m, which was a 20.5% increase compared to the corresponding period of 2015. Group’s sales in local currencies increased by 20.2%.
Growth of Group’s revenues in Q2 2016 was additionally supported by consolidation of results of Starbucks chain in Germany acquired on 23rd May 2016 (PLN 50m sales for the period from a day of acquisition to end of June 2016). Excluding sales of Starbucks Germany, the revenues of the Group in Q2 2026 grew by 14.2%.
The sales results of CE division amounted to PLN 536m in Q2 2016 and were 17.3% higher compared to Q2 2015. Total sales generated by this division in local currencies increased by 14.8%.
The revenues of Russian division stayed at last year’s level and amounted to PLN 116m in Q2 2016. In local currency sales grew by 19.4%.
The revenues of Western Europe division in Q2 2016 amounted to PLN 254m, which was higher by 48.7% compared to Q2 2015 (41% growth in local currency).
Sales of Spanish market, reported within the segment of Western Europe, amounted to PLN 196m in Q2 2016, which was 20.8% higher than year ago (+13.0% in local currency).
In China revenues amounted to PLN 59m in Q2 2016, which was a 5.5% increase over the year. In local currency it represented a growth of 6.1%.
Revenues reported under Unallocated segment equaled PLN 10m and were 2.6% higher than year ago.
