RB 154/2016 Preliminary sales results Q3 2016
AmRest Holdings SE (“AmRest”) informs that the preliminary sales generated by the AmRest Group (“Group”) in Q3 2016 amounted to PLN 1 158m, which was a 34.4% increase compared to the corresponding period of 2015. Group’s sales in local currencies increased by 32.1%.
Growth of Group’s revenues in Q3 2016 was additionally supported by consolidation of results of Starbucks chain in Germany acquired on 23rd May 2016 (PLN 153m sales in Q3 2016). Excluding sales of Starbucks Germany, the revenues of the Group in Q3 2016 grew by 16.7%.
The sales results of CE division amounted to PLN 586m in Q3 2016 and were 15.5% higher compared to Q3 2015. Total sales generated in this division in local currencies increased by 14.0%.
The revenues of Russian division amounted to PLN 125m in Q3 2016 and were 27.5% higher compared to the corresponding period of 2015. In local currency sales grew by 26.9%.
The revenues of Western Europe division in Q3 2016 amounted to PLN 376m, which was higher by 97.4% compared to Q3 2015 (90.5% growth in local currency).
Sales of the Spanish market, reported within the segment of Western Europe, amounted to PLN 216m in Q3 2016, which was 18.6% higher than year ago (+14.4% in local currency).
In China revenues amounted to PLN 59m in Q3 2016, which was a 5.2% increase over the year. In local currency it represented a growth of 7.7%.
Revenues reported under Unallocated segment equaled PLN 12m and were 24.6% higher than year ago.
