AmRest: Sales revenues in the third quarter of 2008 increased by 78.7%

The preliminary sales revenues generated by the AmRest Group in the third quarter of 2008 amounted to PLN 423.8 million, what is the 78.7% increase compared with the corresponding period of 2007. In the third quarter of 2007 the sales revenues reached PLN 237.1 million.

In the third quarter of 2008 the results of 104 Applebee’s restaurants, which operate in US, were consolidated for the first time. The sales revenues of AmRest restaurants operating in US, in the third quarter of 2008, amounted to PLN 132.8 million. In the same period the sales revenues of AmRest restaurants operating in Europe amounted to PLN 291,0 million.

In view of the above the preliminary sales revenues in the first three quarters of 2008 amounted to PLN 931.4 million and increased by 54.8% compared with 2007. In the first three quarters of 2007 the sales revenues reached PLN 601.8 million.
