AmRest Holdings SE (“AmRest”) informs that the preliminary sales generated by the AmRest Group (“Group”) in Q2 2017 amounted to PLN 1 243m, which was a 27.2% increase compared to the corresponding period of 2016. Group’s sales in local currencies increased by 27.8%.
Growth of Group’s revenues in Q2 2017 was additionally supported by consolidation of results of 15 KFC restaurants taken over in Germany on March 1st, 2017 and Pizza Hut Delivery chain in France acquired on May 16th, 2017 (collectively PLN 37m sales in Q2 2017). Excluding sales of KFC Germany and Pizza Hut France, the revenues of the Group in Q2 2017 grew by 23.5%.
The sales results of Central Europe division amounted to PLN 617m in Q2 2017 and were 15.0% higher compared to Q2 2016. Total sales generated in this division in local currencies increased by 16.1%.
The revenues of Russian division amounted to PLN 150m in Q2 2017 and were 29.1% higher compared to the corresponding period of 2016. In local currency sales grew by 13.1%.
The revenues of Western Europe division in Q2 2017 amounted to PLN 390m, which was higher by 53.7% compared to Q2 2016 (59.1% growth in local currency).
Sales of the Spanish market, reported within the segment of Western Europe, amounted to PLN 216m in Q2 2017, which was 10.2% higher than year ago (+14.2% in local currency).
In China revenues amounted to PLN 73m in Q2 2017, which was a 22.9% increase over the year. In local currency it represented a growth of 30.3%.
Revenues reported under Unallocated segment equaled PLN 14m and were 18.0% higher than year ago.
