AmRest Holdings SE (“AmRest”) informs that the preliminary sales generated by the AmRest Group (“Group”) in Q4 2017 amounted to PLN 1 213m, which was a 32.2% increase compared to the corresponding period of 2016. Group’s sales in local currencies increased by 28.0%.
Growth of Group’s revenues in Q4 2017 was additionally supported by consolidation of results of 15 KFC restaurants taken over in Germany on March 1st, 2017, Pizza Hut Delivery chain in France acquired on May 16th, 2017, Pizza Hut chain in Germany taken over on July 31st, 2017, 22 KFC restaurants acquired on October 2nd, 2017 in Russia, 37 KFC restaurants taken over so far in France in Q4 2017 and Restaurant Partner Polska Sp. z o.o., shares of which AmRest acquired on August 31st, 2017 (collectively PLN 150m sales in Q4 2017). Excluding sales of listed businesses the revenues of the Group in Q4 2017 grew by 12.7%.
The sales results of CE division amounted to PLN 745m in Q4 2017 and were 18.7% higher compared to Q4 2016. Total sales generated in this division in local currencies increased by 19.1%.
The revenues of Russian division amounted to PLN 177m in Q4 2017 and were 31.1% higher compared to the corresponding period of 2016. In local currency sales grew by 37.5%.
The revenues of Western Europe division in Q4 2017 amounted to PLN 515m, which was higher by 35.9% compared to Q4 2016 (40.6% growth in local currency).
Sales of the Spanish market, reported within the segment of Western Europe, amounted to PLN 251m in Q4 2017, which was 10.1% higher than year ago (+14.0% in local currency).
In China revenues amounted to PLN 65m in Q4 2017, which was a 7.9% increase over the year. In local currency it represented a growth of 18.0%.
Revenues reported under Unallocated segment equaled PLN 18m and were 34.9% higher than year ago.
