Mark Chandler
Chief Executive Officer

Mark Chandler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Whitman College as well as an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Chandler joined AmRest in November 2008 as Global Chief Financial Officer. In May 2019 he replaced Henry McGovern as new Chief Executive Officer.

He previously was working as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Waytronix, Inc. (LED technology) and for 23 years for Sara Lee Corporation, holding numerous positions in finance, management and operations, including roles as Group CFO EMEA and CEO Business Development Europe.

Olgierd Danielewicz

Mr. Olgierd Danielewicz is a graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Master degree in Management and Marketing) and Academy of Economics in Wroclaw (postgraduated studies and MBA).

He joined AmRest (ARS) as a student in 1998, taking up the function of Assistant Manager of soon to be opened KFC restaurant. Afterward he held the position of General Manager, Area Trainer (responsible for training in both KFC and Pizza Hut in Western Poland), Area Coach of KFC South 1 region and District Coach (taking over responsibility for few regions of KFC operation).

In 2007 Mr. Danielewicz was given a challenge of relaunch of Burger King in Poland. The opening of Burger King Złote Tarasy has been recorded as one of the best Burger King openings ever.  Next step in his career was the coming back to his home brand and taking over the Brand President position for KFC, initially in Central Europe division, currently in all markets of AmRest operation. He is responsible for development, monitoring of financial performance and image of the KFC brand.

Ismael Sanchez Moreno
Chief People Officer

Named as CPO of The Year in Mexico, Ismael is a seasoned Senior HR Executive with more than 20 years of experience in multicultural businesses with a global presence. He has led several HR transformation processes and aligned organizational current and future needs with business goals. His strengths are in Strategic HR planning, organizational design, business process reengineering and transformation, M&A and change management solutions.

Since 2013, he was a Human Resources Vice President for Bachoco - the world’s 5th largest poultry production and an organization with $4 billion in sales and 25,000 employees. Prior to Bachoco, Ismael was Corporate People and Change Management Director for Grupo Modelo in Mexico City and worked 11 years at CEMEX in HR located in Madrid.

He has University degrees including MBA and Masters in HR. Currently, he is Consultative Committee President of AMEDIRH (Mexican Human Resources Management Association) and NAHRMA (North America Human Resource Management Association) delegate (USA/CAN/MEX).

Eduardo Zamarripa

Eduardo Zamarripa serves as CFO for AmRest Holdings and brings more than 15 years’ experience in areas such as Finance, Strategy and Corporate Governance. Previously Mr. Zamarripa was CFO of Grupo Finaccess, Chief Strategy Officer for Conservas La Costeña, where he was a member of the Executive Committee. He also held several positions at Grupo Modelo in the Strategy, Finance and Investor Relations divisions. Prior to his 11-year stint at Grupo Modelo, Mr. Zamarripa was a consultant at Deloitte and an Auditor at KPMG.

Mr. Zamarripa is a Certified Public Accountant from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and completed an MBA at the Instituto Panamericano en Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE) in Mexico as well as an Executive Program at Wharton University.

Since 2005 Mr. Zamarripa has continuously held a teaching position in the Master’s in Finance Program at the Universidad Anahuac México.

Jerzy Tymofiejew
Chief Development Officer

Mr. Jerzy Tymofiejew is a graduate of Silesian University of Technology (Master degree in Technology and Management in Construction).

Mr. Tymofiejew joined AmRest in 2013 taking the position of Construction Director CE. From September 2015 he has taken the position of Development Director CE and in 2017 took responsibility for development activities on all AmRest markets holding position of Chief Development Officer.

Before he moved into retail industry, Mr. Tymofiejew spent few years in construction industry managing construction sites in Poland and Germany and last 8 years before joining AmRest Mr Tymofiejew spent with Lidl in Poland and Great Britain holding position of Store Construction Executive.

Ramanurup Sen
Food Service President

Mr. Ramanurup Sen is an experienced Supply Chain and Procurement professional in the food service sector, having more than 30 years’ experience in the restaurant and food manufacturing industry. He started his career in India working in food manufacturing for a Danone subsidiary before moving to the restaurant sector working for Yum Brands, Starbucks and Nando’s. Since 2000, he has been based in London in various UK, European, EMEA and Global roles operating in both equity and franchisee business environments. His previous roles include Head -Supply Chain (Indian Sub-Continent), European Supply Manager and Pizza Hut UK Supply Chain Director while with Yum, Supply Chain Director- EMEA for Starbucks and Group Procurement and Supply Chain Director for Nando’s. Prior to joining AmRest in Oct 2018 as Food Service President, his role in Nando’s involved setting up a Group Supply Chain function to leverage the global scale of the business across Europe/Africa/Asia/North America/Australia for both the restaurants as well as the consumer packed goods division in areas of Direct and indirect procurement, manufacturing and logistics.

Mr. Sen is a graduate in Production Engineering and an MBA, both from Jadavpur University, India.

Adam Mularuk
Chief Franchise Brands Officer

Adam Mularuk is a graduate of Florida International University, faculty of Hospitality Management and an MBA studies at the University of Minnesota and Szkoła Główna Handlowa in Warsaw.

In 1992-2000 he worked for IKEA Poland, where he developed professionally from restaurant manager to Food Service Manager CEE, and then IKEA store manager. In 2001 he founded Decorador company with the help of investment funds, where he was the Chairman of the Board. In 2004 he was appointed Director of the IKEA store in Barcelona, then Madrid. After five years he returned to Poland to support IKEA Poland as a Sales Director.

He joined AmRest in 2012 as President of Burger King. In September 2014, he became President of Starbucks. During this period, he expanded the reach of the Starbucks brand from three countries to eight, adding Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Germany and Serbia to Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary. In October 2019, he was appointed Chief Franchise Brands Officer for KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King and Starbucks.

Malena Pato-Castel
Chief Proprietary Brands Officer

Mrs Malena Pato-Castel graduated in Business Administration Degree (ICADE E2) with post graduate Marketing studies. She started her professional career 30 years ago.
Long experience in different local and multinational companies and diverse environments endorsed her adaptability to different business management styles and cultures.
She has worked in Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Hospitality industry in leading companies such as Hachette, Unilever, Yum! and AmRest. She held responsibility for different cultural settings such as Israel, Turkey, Spain and Portugal, and different business areas: Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, General Management.

She was a Board member of the company which operated Pizza Hut and KFC brands in Spain, member of KFC Brand Council of Europe and worked as industry representative for different National Environmental projects.

Co-Founder and Managing Director of Kenchic (latter Restauravia) – the company that in 2004 owned 14 KFC restaurants and till 2010 expanded to close to 100 units through organic growth and the acquisition of La Tagliatella.
Following the acquisition of Restauravia by AmRest in 2011 she was appointed as Division President, and latter Owned Brands (La Tagliatella and Blue Frog) President.

Peter Kaineder
Chief Strategy Officer

Mr. Peter Kaineder is a graduate of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and the Higher Technical Institute of Civil Engineering.
Mr. Kaineder joined AmRest in January 2018 as Chief Strategy Officer focusing on mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and investor relations.
Previously Mr. Kaineder spent 17 years in investment banking based in London with his most recent mandates at Berenberg in the role of Co-Head of Emerging Europe and Erste Group as Head of Equities.

Robert Żuk
Chief Information Officer

Robert Żuk joined AmRest in May 2017 as Global Chief Information Officer.

Robert has over 20 years experience in Information Technology in well established multinational corporations and dynamically growing companies.

Before joining AmRest, Robert held number of Senior Executive position in AXA Poland, Liberty Mutual Insurance Poland and GE Capital.

Robert holds a M.S. degree in Information Systems from Technical University of Gdansk, and MBA degree from University of Gdansk.
